Worthen Barn

Using a donation from Dr. Edward Worthen, the Historical Society erected a timber-frame barn to showcase the agricultural history of Grand Isle. Framinge was designed, crafted, and erected by Yestermorrow as part of a class in the late summer of 2019. 

The foundation was poured by Berlinghoff Site Work

The roof was put on by Doug Larson, Matt Larson, and Patrick Prouty.  

The siding was installed by Ron Prouty

Items were transferred from the tool shed which had been used previously and more has been added through donations.  Clicking on the image below will allow navigation through  pictures of the collection.
